春の苑
紅にほふ
桃の花
下照る道に
出で立つ少女

According to Mr. Nakanishi’s book, this song reminds one of a paint composition which was popular and typical at those times in the Eurasian Continent, dubbed “A Beauty Under a Tree”(樹下美人図).
The remains of such paintings were sometimes discovered from tumuli (old tombs) and caves – obviously this song got a certain influence and “stimulus” from such foreign culture trend?
